BIO & GOALS:
I have been in love with makeup ever since I was about 11 years old and received my first tube of mascara. I have been doing makeup on others since I was about 15 and last year I decided to really push myself into the industry. I went to Charles Gregory Makeup Academy in Atlanta in June of 2009 and received my certification in Makeup Artistry. Since then I have been busy every weekend with photo shoots. I just graduated from college in May making me the first person in my family to receive a college degree!

My goals are to keep perfecting my techniques and get some of my work on the covers of magazines!

CURRENT PROJECTS/ UPCOMING EVENTS:
Where to start? I am currently booked every weekend through the end of June and still booking shoots.

LOCATION: Historic Buford

PROFESSION/ SPECIALTY: Fashion & Glamour Photography, Wedding & Event Photography

LIST OF SERVICES: Photoshop Expert, Artist Management & Career Advancement

CONTACT INFO: Albatross Digital Imagery & Albatross Artist Management

BIO:
In my truly humble opinion the female form, strong yet frail, angular with soft curves, is the most impressive subject for a photographer to shoot. I shoot this, sports, art & scenery and love to work with light, angles, and patterns to bring all to a more interesting & poignant level. I have been into photography for 25 years and have been a pro for the last 13 in the fashion, glamour, print and artistic realms.

I have worked for Click & Smithe Atl Models and freelanced for many others. Clients include Absolute, Under Armor, Worth Sports, Doeringer Guitars (www.DoeringerGuitars.com ) and countless Make-up, Hair and Fashion vendors. I also write for and manage a team of bloggers for the Gwinnett Braves and Atlanta’s AAA affiliate team.

GOALS:
To get better at what I do everyday by learning from the people around me, even if I am mentoring them.

CURRENT PROJECTS/ UPCOMING EVENTS:
Countless shoots, I stay pretty busy. Some of the more interesting include an underwater video shoot for Doeringer Guitars, Events for USSSA Softball, and recurring events for the Gwinnett Braves.

WHY HE ROCKS:
I feel my best quality is capturing any body shape & height to its fullest potential. I have a very creative sense and an artistic flair. I also have the ability to bring out the best in a subject by either letting her run with an idea or by instruction. Either way, the melding of the team of creative supernovas will create a product more valuable than the sum of each separately. It may sound corny but it is a true statement. So don’t think out of the box, break out of it.

EXAMPLES OF WORK:
Credits: Well the immortal Kris Melton (Rock Fist Queen, www.modelmayhem.com%2FKrisMelton&h=9c0e4) for one! Dancer, model actress Lovaniya (www.lovaniya.com), Reality Show winner Mindy Finney, Aimee Muyers (Playboy Ent & Maxim model), Linda Dupree (MUA Hair specialist).

Bio & Goals:
Born in Eastern North Carolina. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia after high school to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta. From there I went to work for rock bands as a drum tech as I was already a drummer. I had already been taking snapshots quite a bit for years at that point.

Eventually I got better and I decided to pursue a second career in photography. I have since accumulated a large number of photos of a vast array of subjects, from birds and bands to barns and beaches. The extensive travel has allowed me to grow this database of photos as well as become a better photographer. This site showcases an assortment of subjects I’ve photographed over the years.

In recent years I attended and continue to attend the annual Nikon School as well as The Rocky Mountain School of Photography workshop. My best teacher has been constant practice. I’m almost constantly thinking of some aspect of photography.

When I’m not on the road I shoot out of my home studio located in downtown Atlanta. There I can shoot single, couple, family and group shots as well as products up to bicycle size.

Connor@VintageEarthMusic.com
www.VintageEarthMusic.com

http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/profile.php?id=1291978554

Bio & Goals:
Goals: To make your record sound better than even you thought it could!!!

Bio: Equal parts modern troubadour, back road poet and outlaw rocker, Connor Christian creates gritty, soulful songs of experience revealing solace in hardship, hope in destitution, and a dustbowl sensibility. His powerful music draws on influences ranging from Ryan Adams, G. Love, and Counting Crows to The Band and Tumbleweed Connection-era Elton John and makes a heartfelt statement found at the crossroads of Roots Rock and Americana.

Connor left home at the age of 14 and forged a path of personal and musical discovery that took him to Indonesia, South Korea, France, Belgium, Singapore, and beyond. It was in these places that Connor cultivated his deeply felt views on American life and found strength in the perspective he could deliver through song. “I try to be realistic…” says Connor. “But, we live in a time where it is crucial to pay attention to what’s going on around us… if I can get people to stop and think about it for a minute, well that’s a pretty good start.”

In 2007, Connor’s song ‘3 Times’ was featured in “the most award winning independent film of 2007,” ‘Last Stop for Paul.’

Audiences from Denver to New York City have embraced Connor’s whiskey-soaked vocals and give-’em-hell live show. Performing as Connor Christian and Southern Gothic, Connor averages 250 shows per year and has sold thousands of CDs and downloads.

Following up 2007’s release of A Southern Gothic, Connor Christian released ‘90 Proof Lullabies’ in March 2009. This set of 14 songs was produced by Jeff Tomei (Matchbox 20, Jerrry Cantrell), mixed by Shawn Grove (Collective Soul, Sevendust) and features Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke, Mark Van Allen of Blueground Undergrass and Bobby Emmett of the Shooter Jennings Band.

Vertigo Lounge (independant Release) (Hard Rock/Hip Hop/Jam)

Why he rocks:
Wide range of influences, and an understanding of just about all genres of music from Bluegrass to Metal to Country, Pop, and Rock. With 15 years of studio experience and 20 years writing songs and co-writing.

Some previous work:
In addition to producing my own records ( Listen at http://connorchristian.com/music ) I’ve produced records for the Back Row Baptists (www.BackRowBaptists.com ) with James Barber (Ryan Adams, Hole), Garrett Freireich (album releasing June 2010) and many others. PROFESSION/ SPECIALTY/ SERVICES: Professional Photographer

List of Services:
Available for hire for portfolio/ portraits, band photos, band merchandise promo, etc. Contact him for pricing and information.

Bio & Goals:
I grew up in Richmond, Virginia in a traditionally Jewish household with both parents as lawyers. I moved on to and graduated from Georgia Tech in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I work full-time as a mechanical engineer for an Avionics firm just outside of Atlanta. I do hope that one day I can use my creative skills and background to make a difference in the world and the community through photography. In other words, it has been a dream of mine to make photography be my full-time occupation, as long as I still enjoy it.

Why he rocks:
Whether it be in engineering, design, music, art and photography, I’ve always had a creative mind and been one-of-a-kind and unique in my style for creating art. I believe that is why I’ve been told I have a unique style of photography. I enjoy shooting nature in its natural, undisturbed state. I also enjoy shooting people and things that don’t belong but are placed in the same situation or location. I also have a profound interest in shooting people with tattoos and piercings and would love to help educate people on the art of tattooing and the art of tattoos. I believe that tattoos and piercings get a bad rap in modern society, and sometimes it’s deserved, but most of the time it’s not. Tattoos and people with tattoos should be treated like the old saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”

 Bio:
I have been doing makeup since I was in middle school; attacking my friend’s with ambush makeovers. In high school, I needed to express my obsession with cosmetics, so I joined the drama club to do theatrical makeup for our school’s various productions. Then I shortly became the makeup director. In college, I couldn’t escape my love of makeup, so I started to incorporate it into my assignments for art school. Photography became an outlet for me to truly capture the works I created in makeup. After graduating with a BFA in Digital Art in 2006, I worked on dozens of freelance projects doing hair and makeup throughout the state of Georgia. Then I came across, PinUpGirl! Cosmetics when it was in Little 5 Points over 3 years ago. I was hired as a shop girl who did makeup on the side. Then I was given the position of store manager where I performed as a makeup artist and photographer. In the summer of 2009, after a year of having had the shop relocate to Grant Park, I became owner. My goals are simple for myself and my company. I would like the shop and our brand to keep expanding to an online store and have multiple locations around North America and possibly the world; reminiscent of our favorite fashion houses. I would like to broaden my career in makeup, hair styling and photography with more varied and unique projects involving film and television.

Why she ROCKS:
I rock because every time I do makeup, it’s so exciting to see the transformation on a client for their everyday look, into vintage glam. I rock because it rocks to see them so excited and so pleased with themselves.

PinUpGirl! Cosmetics offers an array of services including make-up, photo, and even private parties. Check out their entire list of services and prices at www.pinupgirlcos.com. Make a great gift for a special lady or to treat yourself!

BIO & GOALS:
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA. I didn’t grow up with a mother who wore much makeup but for some reason it intrigued me. I would always experiment with different things as a child. Always wanting to go up to the Eckerd’s and spend my allowance on lipstick and face masks. I grew up in the punk rock scene and saw all sorts of crazy eye makeup as well as hairstyles and clothing which really got my mind rolling. I was always into art but never knew how to put it on paper so I started putting it on faces. Mostly mine… until my friends asked me to start doing their makeup at the age of 12, maybe younger. After that, my passion came alive and I started working for a photographer named Paul Amodio at the age of 16 and kept practicing on my face as well as my friends. As the years have gone on I have learned new tricks, new looks, tips, etc. I have worked for several photographers, MAC cosmetic counters, weddings, salons, TV, and fashion shows as well as Kris Melton of Rock Fist herself! My goals are to continue to be inspired by rock and roll, fashion designers, nature, as well as women of all skin tones, and really take my artistry to the next level. I also plan to get my certification in Permanent Makeup. I hope to never get sick of what I love and to continue learning new things everyday.

Why she ROCKS:
I love trying new things…things you wouldn’t necessarily see on someone in church, ya know? Something you might see at a show or art gallery or maybe even something inspired by the 40′s, 50′s, or 60′s- but crazier. I think people are sometimes afraid of the unknown. I think some people need to be pushed to open their mind a bit and see some newer, crazier, FUN looks. I want people to realize they don’t have to take themselves too seriously and they can still look rockin’.

Tyler Capehart

Tyler Capehart

Bio & Goals:
I like Punk Rawk, PBR, Pepperoni Pizza, and old skool video games: (Turtles in Time, Duck Hunt, Bubble Bobble, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Tetris). I have a degree in Film & Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design and have been producing videos for over a decade. D-I-Y (Do It Yourself) I slowly started off working as a solo act and as I built up credibility I’ve contracted other artists to collaborate with.

“Cinematography is infinite in its possibilities… far more so than music or language… if it can be written or thought… it can be filmed”- Tyler Capehart

I had goals, and well, some were accomplished, some are still in the process. Regardless I’m just living….
-continue to produce films & photography
-start or find another band to sing for & play guitar/trumpet
-produce and shoot the feature zombie film I wrote
-start a summer tour within the US that consists of my friends bands

Why he rocks:
Music fuels my soul’s engine. I live my life for music & I will die doing what I love. I stand out because of my dedication to the music scene and my drive to keep it alive by documenting it for future generations. I want to live on Tour. I love the road… I’ve have toured countless times with many bands, but a few of my favorite moments on the road come from working with festivals. Touring with Van’s Warped Tour was absolutely remarkable. I learned so much from Kevin Lyman and Lisa Brownlee that I hope to someday start my own tour. Touring with Community Records taught me the real DIY lifestyle of traveling independently and to be honest I loved every second of it.

I did a photo shoot with a Playboy Playmate last December
(this is my favorite photo from the shoot)
