WHY DOES ROCK FIST ONLY POST GOOD REVIEWS?
Rock Fist is intended to be a resource for the local community. We want to be a place you come to discover new artists that you may like, not to be another band bashing publication. If we do not like a band, we do not post a review. Period.
WHY SHOULD I REGISTER AS A USER?
As a user you will be able to vote and comment on reviews, interviews, pictures, and more. Only users have this functionality, so Rock Fists with us! (You must be a user to vote for MILF of the Month)
WHY SHOULD I SUBSCRIBE TO EMAILS?
When you subscribe you will receive a daily email every time we post a new review, interview, event, contest winner, etc. You can stay up to date with all that happens on Rock Fist!

HOW DO I GET A REVIEW?
Bands: Email us at RockFistReviews@gmail.com with your band name, location, and either a link to a page where we can check out your sound (myspace, website, etc.) or attach MP3’s for us to give a listen. For a performance review let us know the date, location, and set time of the show- if we like your sound and are available we will contact you with details. Albums/ EPs can be mailed in at any time, but are not guaranteed a review. Mail them to:

HOW DO I GET A REVIEW?
Other Artists: While our main focus is music, we want to celebrate other artists in the rock world too. Below are other artists we are interested in:

CAN I WRITE FOR ROCK FIST?
We are looking for writers to cover an array of music tastes and cities. Here’s what we’re looking for:
Must be familiar with local music i.e. attend shows, purchase CDs, know about local groups, etc
Must follow Rock Fist criteria. We only write about bands that are worth our fans time and money… that means ONLY good reviews. Rock Fist is a resource, not band bashers.
Would prefer (but not limited too) writers selecting either (1) a city in the Southeast to cover OR (2) a genre of rock music to cover across the Southeast
Must be willing to help promote Rock Fist and help as a resource to your city for other artists (tattoo, piercing, photography, pin-ups, songwriters, etc.)

Your review should follow Rock Fist’s format, including the bands location, who they sound like, who the members are, etc. Read our previous reviews for a template. If we like your work, you will be allowed to submit articles as frequently as you would like.
CAN I PHOTOGRAPH FOR ROCK FIST?
Send examples of your work to RockFistReviews@gmail.com. Let us know what shows you want to work, location, and how frequently. We may coordinate a performance review with you to photograph, or have you photograph shows solo.
HOW CAN I PROMOTE MY BAND ON ROCK FIST?
Give us a set of two tickets or a free copy of the album to give to a winner, and we’ll help you promote your show/ album! We will also promote an upcoming show if you let Rock Fist fans have a free copy of your CD or free admission to the show when they mention ROCK FIST at the merch table/ door. We also have a contest for MILF (Musician I’d Like To…) of the Month. The winner wins his/ her band promo for the following month. Get your fans to nominate and vote for you!
HOW CAN I GET MY BANDS MUSIC ON ROCK FIST’S MP3 PLAYER?
